Overview
A Hyperlocal Website build is a fixed-price, fixed-scope project to design, build, and launch a programmatic website for your garage comprising 300 or more geo-targeted landing pages. Each page targets a specific service/location combination β for example, "MOT test [Town]", "brake replacement [Suburb]", "car service [Area]" β giving your garage ranked search coverage across your entire service area.
This is a one-time build project. It is separate from (and complementary to) our ongoing SEO Growth retainer.
What's included
Core deliverables
- Design system β a consistent visual identity applied across all pages: header, footer, service sections, trust signals, and calls-to-action;
- 300+ programmatic landing pages β each targeting a unique service-and-location keyword combination, structured and copy-written for both human readers and search engines;
- Core manual pages β Home, About, Services index, Contact, and up to 5 primary service detail pages;
- On-page SEO β titles, meta descriptions, header hierarchy, internal linking structure, schema markup (LocalBusiness, AutoRepair, Service), XML sitemap, and robots.txt;
- Google Business Profile integration β embedded map, NAP consistency across pages, and structured data aligned with your GBP;
- Lead capture β click-to-call, contact form, and (where applicable) booking widget integration on every page;
- Core Web Vitals pass β performance optimized at launch;
- Analytics setup β GA4 and standard conversion event tracking.
What's not included
To keep the price fixed, we explicitly exclude:
- Ongoing SEO work after launch (covered by SEO Growth retainer);
- Ongoing content production beyond the initial build;
- Custom web applications or member-only portals;
- Native mobile apps;
- Pages beyond the agreed programmatic set (additional batches can be quoted);
- Original photography or videography (we use stock and what you provide);
- Paid media management (covered by Ads Management);
- Domain registration or transfers;
- Third-party licence fees (premium plugins, paid integrations);
- Hosting beyond launch (you BYO or we quote separately).
Most additions are available as quoted add-ons. We scope these before we start β no surprises.
Content generation and accuracy
The 300+ pages are generated programmatically using a combination of templated structures, AI-assisted copy, and human editorial review. All content is reviewed for quality before launch.
Content that refers to your specific services, pricing ranges, or certifications (e.g., "approved MOT testing station") must be confirmed accurate by you at the review stage. We do not independently verify trade credentials.
Timeline and phases
Every Hyperlocal Website project moves through five phases:
- Kickoff & discovery β brief, keyword research, location matrix, page-count confirmation, design brief.
- Design β design system and 3β5 representative page designs for your approval.
- Build β programmatic page generation, core manual pages, SEO and schema setup, analytics.
- Review β you review a sample of 10β20 pages across the full set; we apply feedback; QA and performance pass.
- Launch & handover β go-live, sitemap submission, handover documentation.
Indicative timeline: 6β10 weeks from kickoff brief to launch, assuming timely feedback.
Revisions
The project includes one consolidated round of revisions β applied after the content review in Phase 4. Revisions must be submitted as a single, consolidated document covering design, copy, and structural changes.
In scope for revisions
- Copy corrections, tone adjustments, factual updates;
- Colour, font, or layout tweaks within the approved design system;
- Adding or removing a service from the page template;
- Updating contact details, opening hours, or certifications.
Out of scope for revisions
- A complete design system overhaul after design was approved;
- Expanding the page count beyond the agreed programmatic set;
- Changing the underlying keyword strategy or location matrix after kickoff;
- Switching hosting platform or technical framework.
Out-of-scope revisions are quoted as add-ons before we begin them.
Approvals and sign-off
We require written sign-off at three points: the keyword and location matrix (end of discovery), the design system (end of design phase), and the content review (end of build phase). "Written" can be an email, a dashboard approval, or a messaging-platform confirmation β we log it in your project.
If we don't hear back on an approval within 5 business days of sending it, we'll send a reminder. If we still don't hear back within 10 business days, we'll treat the deliverable as approved and continue. We'll always warn you before we do this.
Launch criteria
The site is considered "launched" when all of the following are true:
- All programmatic pages and core manual pages are built and styled to the approved design;
- Analytics and conversion tracking are configured and verified;
- All forms and click-to-call links are tested and functional;
- Schema markup validates across a representative sample of pages;
- The home page passes Core Web Vitals;
- The XML sitemap is submitted to Google Search Console;
- The site is deployed to production on the agreed domain.
Post-launch warranty (30 days)
For 30 days after launch, we'll fix at no cost any defect that:
- Was present on the day the site launched;
- Falls within the original agreed scope; and
- Wasn't caused by you or a third party (e.g., a plugin or theme change you made).
After the warranty period, fixes are available as paid edits or are covered by a maintenance retainer (quoted separately).
SEO performance β no guarantees
We build the site to technical and on-page SEO best practices, but we do not guarantee:
- Specific keyword rankings or positions;
- Indexation timelines (Google's crawl is outside our control);
- Lead volume or revenue outcomes;
- Recovery from any pre-existing Google penalties on your domain.
Compounding organic results from a hyperlocal build typically emerge over 3β6 months post-launch. Pairing the build with our ongoing SEO Growth retainer significantly improves outcomes.
Payment terms
Hyperlocal builds bill via Stripe. You may choose at checkout:
- Pay in full β single payment at order.
- Two instalments β 50% deposit at order; 50% on launch.
The deposit reserves your build slot and pays for discovery and design. It becomes earned once you submit the kickoff brief. The final 50% is invoiced when the site meets the launch criteria in Β§8. The site is not pointed at your live domain until the final invoice is paid.
Cancellation
- Before kickoff brief is submitted β within 14 days of payment, full refund. See Refunds Β§2.
- After kickoff brief β deposit is earned. The alternative-work guarantee applies β credit can be held for 12 months or applied to a different domain/garage.
- If we can't deliver β see Refunds Β§5.
Ownership and licences
Once paid in full, you own the final deliverables: the code, content, design files, and accounts we set up on your behalf. See Terms Β§9 for the full detail on third-party assets and the portfolio licence we retain.
The programmatic page templates we develop for your project are yours on delivery. Our underlying generation tooling and process documents remain ours.
